- Letter from Mr Griffin

Dear Parents,

I would like to start by thanking all of you for continuing to work so hard in supporting your children with their remote learning. The teachers have been very impressed with the amount of work that has been uploaded and the quality we are receiving each day.

At school, we are currently operating two bubbles for our key worker and vulnerable children. Each bubble is led by a class teacher who is responsible for leading the learning with the teaching assistants. The timetable for teachers in school is as follows:

Monday - Mrs Bending and Mrs Ellam

Tuesday - Mrs Wells and Mrs Ellam

Wednesday - Miss Sandford and Mrs Clarke

Thursday-  Miss Sandford and Mrs Clarke

Friday - Mrs Bending with Mr Griffin leading Bubble B

On the days that teachers are in school, there may be a delay from teachers in replying to questions from parents and pupils. Teachers will endeavour to respond to enquiries about home learning as soon as they can however please understand that on certain days teachers will be teaching in front of a class.

Can I also ask that parents, where possible, send questions to teachers via email rather than posting these on the Google classroom stream. Please continue to encourage your children to attend all of the Google meet sessions as these are a great way to find out about the learning.

Have a great weekend

Mr Griffin

- Message from Mrs Ellam

Taking a break from screens is good for everyone's wellbeing.  Here are some non-screen activities you could do together.  Perhaps set aside a daily family well-being half hour when everyone comes off their screen and reads or listens to music or goes for a walk or does something fun together (etc).  Or maybe start 'Family Friday' where everyone does something fun together then.  I'm sure you have many great ideas and activities that you do together away from screens - let us know and we will share them.

- Reading books

To help continue the fabulous reading that has been going on so far this year, here are some great links that you might find useful to use at home.

- Reading Milestones

Thank you to everyone who completed the Reading Record form.  Here are this week's shout outs for those who reached a Reading Record Milestone...Well done everyone for keeping up with reading.
