Visit to the Synagogue

The KS1 children had a wonderful trip at the Synagogue on Tuesday and Revd Lisa, Mr Walters and Mrs Finlay were very impressed by their behaviour.

Art Project

Juts before half term, Mrs Hay came in to carry out an art project with Year 5 and 6. It was lovely to see her and the children enjoyed decorating their canvas bags. Mrs Hay will be back in again more regularly as a volunteer working with the children on art activities and memory journals....

Zoolab Oct 2018

Zoolab have been in this week with their anti-bullying workshop where Boogie the rat was not very nice to Margaret the snail because she was always slow. The children relived Boogie the rats week where he was mean to Andrew the cockroach by throwing his lunchbox on the floor. Eventually, Sophie the spider told the teacher, Mrs Green the frog about Boogie and the teacher was able to help.

Otmoor Meadow Walk - Oct 2018

We are very lucky to be involved in a village project led by Clayton Baskerville and Vicky Robinson in restoring a field off of Otmoor Lane that dates back 400 years into a meadow. This week we visited the meadow to see what it looks like before the Oxford Down sheep move in over the winter. Once Spring arrives we will be visiting more regularly to take data of plants and insects we find. We understand that the field will have a website and even a twitter account. Youlbury Residential - October 2018

The children had a wonder couple of days at Youlbury scout camp where they got to take part in a number of activities including a treetop trek, 3G swing, tomahawks and a camp fire. A huge thank you to Mrs Ellam and Mrs Pike for joining us on our trip.

Panto Pandemonium 2018

The school production was a huge success and we would like to say a very big thank you to the teaching assistants for the amazing costumes, Mrs Roberts for the singing, Ray for going up and down the ladder, the PTA for putting on refreshment at both performances, all the relatives for coming to watch and finally to the children for their fabulous performance. All the staff are really proud of them all.
